Today I drove to an American supermarket to pick up a few things—milk, eggs, salmon, and some other foods. I had already done a bigger shopping trip at a Chinese supermarket, so today I just wanted to keep it simple and quick.
I’m still a little sleepy after the journey, but I’m slowly getting back into my routine—driving, shopping, eating well, creating, and getting things done.
Even an ordinary grocery trip can become a little moment of life. Today, I also noticed the gas price: $4.19.
A simple day, a simple drive, and a small step toward feeling at home again.
