The jury found that these platforms were intentionally designed to be addictive, which contributed to serious mental health challenges. The woman was awarded $6 million in damages, a decision seen as a wake-up call for how social media can affect young people’s lives.
This case reminds us of an important truth: the spaces we create and the content we share online have real-world impacts. Every post, comment, or interaction can either build someone up or cause harm. At Spring Impression, we believe that art, music, creativity, and positive expression can be powerful tools to inspire, uplift, and connect people across cultures and generations.
