If Love Were a Number… It Would Be π
Today, March 14, is Pi Day, an annual celebration of the mathematical constant π (pi).
It is observed on 3/14 because 3.14 are the first three digits of π.
Pi Day was founded in 1988 by physicist Larry Shaw to celebrate the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. Around the world, people celebrate by eating pie, reciting digits of π, and honoring the beauty of mathematics. It is also the birthday of Albert Einstein.
π is an infinite, non-repeating number, and that idea inspired me.
If love were a number, perhaps it would be π —
endless, mysterious, and always continuing.
For this special day, I composed an original song:
“The Song of Pi – Infinite Love.”
Through music, I wanted to connect mathematics, the universe, and the human heart.
